COREX 472Ah High-Capacity Battery Cell Leads Innovative Product Portfolio at Solar & Storage Live London 2025

COREX 472Ah High-Capacity Battery Cell

From April 2 to 3 local time, the Solar & Storage Live London 2025 was held at the ExCeL International Exhibition Centre in London. CORNEX New Energy showcased a range of high-profile products, with its 472Ah high-capacity battery cell for energy storage emerging as the highlight of the event.

This battery cell has undergone comprehensive upgrades in reliability, stability, and safety. It is compatible with lithium supplementation on the cathode side and high-temperature equivalence technology. Leveraging mature production line processes, it is scheduled to enter mass production by June 30, making it the fastest-to-market high-capacity battery solution in the industry with an excellent cost-performance ratio.

472Ah High-Capacity Battery: Redefining Energy Storage Efficiency

COREX 472Ah High-Capacity Battery Cell

1. Industry-Leading Ultra-High Capacity Design

CORNEX's newly launched 472Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery cell is one of the highest-capacity energy storage cells currently available on the global market. Compared to traditional 280Ah cells, it offers nearly 40% higher energy density, significantly reducing the number of cells required in parallel, lowering system complexity, and improving overall energy efficiency.

2. Ultra-Long Cycle Life, Lower Total Cost of Ownership

Utilizing highly stable LFP cathode material and an optimized electrolyte formulation, the cell delivers up to 12,000 cycles in laboratory tests (with 80% capacity retention), far exceeding the industry average. This makes it especially well-suited for long-duration storage applications (8–12 hours), such as solar-plus-storage systems, grid frequency regulation, and commercial & industrial energy storage.

3. Multi-Layer Safety Protection for Reliable Operation

CORNEX has implemented comprehensive upgrades in battery safety design, including:

· Intelligent thermal management system for real-time temperature monitoring to prevent thermal runaway

· Explosion-proof valve + ceramic separator technology for enhanced thermal stability

· AI-powered early warning algorithm to detect potential risks in advance and improve overall system safety

At the Solar & Storage Live London 2025, CORNEX marked the first international appearance of its 472Ah high-capacity battery, following the initial launch of the cell on March 28. This debut represents an upgraded answer from China’s energy storage sector to the European market. In addition to the 472Ah cell, CORNEX also showcased a lineup of innovative products including the Long π 314Ah battery, JUNENG π 314Ah battery, and CORNEX M6, further highlighting its strong technological capabilities in the energy storage field. The 472Ah cell now leads a robust matrix of next-generation innovations.

CORNEX has already established a localized service team in Europe, providing full lifecycle O&M support. With a dual-engine strategy of "technology + service," CORNEX is set to deepen its presence in the European market, continuously delivering customer-driven product solutions and contributing Chinese innovation to Europe’s energy transition.
