São Paulo, Brazil, August 26, 2025 — Sungrow, a global leader in PV inverters and energy storage systems, launched its new-generation microinverter, the S2500S-L, at Intersolar South America 2025. Engineered for high reliability, efficiency, and user-friendly operation, the S2500S-L is designed to accelerate Brazil’s shift toward clean energy.
With an output of 2.5 kW per unit, three S2500S-L microinverters can be combined into a 7.5 kW system—perfectly aligning with Brazil’s simplified approval process under Normative Resolution No. 1,000/2021. The product boasts a high power density of 455 W/kg, offering a compact and efficient design. It supports four independent MPPT inputs with a DC current of up to 18 A, ensuring broad compatibility with modern solar panels.
The S2500S-L operates at full capacity up to 45°C without derating and delivers reliable performance even at temperatures as high as 80°C—making it ideal for Brazil’s hotter climates. Its advanced thermal management system enhances heat dissipation by 10–15% compared to conventional solutions, guaranteeing consistent power output under extreme conditions.
Featuring one-click setup via the iSolarCloud app, the system allows settings to be synchronized across all devices within a network, reducing installation time by more than 66%. Users can monitor real-time performance and resolve issues remotely, minimizing maintenance requirements and system downtime.
The microinverter’s transmission power is increased by 10%, delivering broader and stronger signal coverage. With high receiver sensitivity (-93 dBm), it maintains stable communication even through physical obstructions. In the event of a connection loss, the device stores 24 hours of operational data and automatically retransmits once reconnected, ensuring data integrity.
The S2500S-L has undergone extensive validation, including over 500,000 hours of component reliability tests and 10,000 hours of testing on core parts. It performs reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, withstands rapid thermal cycling, and carries IP67 and C5 anti-corrosion certifications. It also complies with Class EMC standards, ensuring safe and stable operation across diverse Brazilian environments.
Combining high efficiency, thermal durability, robust communication, and simplified installation, the S2500S-L offers Brazilian homeowners a dependable and easy-to-use solution for smarter, more efficient clean energy generation.
