On June 11, 2025, the 18th International Solar Energy and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition took place in Shanghai, where Cornex showcased its innovative full-scenario energy storage solutions. As the fourth generation of Cornex's energy storage batteries, each 472Ah unit has a nominal energy of 1510.4Wh and an energy density of up to 195Wh/kg. This battery delivers significant advantages, including:

By using the "technology reuse + production capacity sharing" strategy, Cornex has successfully adopted the mature production line processes of the 314Ah battery, ensuring high safety, consistency, and rapid mass production.

M6 Prefabricated Cabin: Enhanced Efficiency and Capacity

The M6 prefabricated cabin, which incorporates the 472Ah battery, offers a standard 20-foot container capacity of 6.28MWh, expandable to 6.9MWh per cabin. This represents a 38% increase in capacity and a 20% reduction in land area compared to industry-standard products. The cabin is designed to be used in power and industrial-commercial scenarios that require over two hours of energy storage, helping to redefine the economic and efficiency standards for energy storage projects.

Safety, Lifespan, and Environmental Adaptability

Cornex recognises that the core elements for large-scale energy storage applications lie in safety, reliability, and long-term value. The company has thus built a robust technological moat to ensure these aspects are well covered. At the exhibition, Cornex shared its three major innovations:

1. Immersion 2.0 Safety System: This system provides rapid early warning and millisecond-level shutdown, effectively preventing the risk of thermal runaway and allowing for fire extinguishment within just 6 seconds. It offers ultimate safety for centralised energy storage power stations and high-density applications.

2. Cathode Lithium Compensation Technology: This innovative solution compensates for active lithium loss during battery cycling, significantly delaying capacity degradation at the material level and thereby extending the battery's lifespan and providing more stable returns for investors.

3. High-Temperature Equivalent Technology: Cornex's products are optimised with material systems and thermal management designs, allowing them to maintain excellent performance and cycle life even in harsh environments. This technology greatly expands the geographical boundaries for energy storage deployments, particularly in tropical and desert regions with high sunlight but challenging climates.
