From February 17 to 19, 2025, the 10th Energy Storage Summit took place in London, UK, bringing together key players in the energy storage sector. EVE Energy was invited to attend the summit and presented a speech on the theme of "Can Large-Scale Batteries Simplify the Growing Management of Power Station Projects." The company shared its cutting-edge solutions and fresh perspectives on the rapidly evolving European energy storage market.

The European energy storage market is set for significant growth in the coming decades. According to leading consulting firms such as IHS and EASE, energy storage demand in Europe is expected to reach 300GW by 2030 and exceed 600GW by 2050. To meet this rising demand, large-scale energy storage systems are essential. The individual unit capacity of energy storage solutions is shifting from MWh to GWh, with the first power station project exceeding 1GWh slated for launch in 2024.

Despite this growth, challenges related to economic viability, operational complexity, and safety concerns are emerging. EVE Energy's Approach to Simplifying Large-Scale Energy Storage Systems

The company pioneered the development of large-scale battery systems, starting with the introduction of the 628Ah ultra-high capacity cell, Mr.Big. This innovative cell design simplifies energy storage systems by reducing the number of data collection points in power stations by up to 50%, leading to a more streamlined operation. As a result, the lifecycle operation and maintenance costs of energy storage stations can be reduced by 30%, and operational hours can be cut from 336 to 232 per year.

In addition, EVE Energy’s 5MWh energy storage system, Mr.Giant, integrates the Mr.Big cells with a minimalist design, achieving a remarkable energy efficiency of 95.5%. This system offers substantial benefits to clients seeking high-efficiency solutions. A demonstration station in Jingmen, Hubei, has been operational since August 2024, collecting nearly six months of real-world performance data, which highlights the system's effectiveness in terms of efficiency and cost savings.

EVE Energy’s Manufacturing Excellence and Global Strategy

EVE Energy’s commitment to innovation is reflected in its ability to achieve mass production of 600Ah+ energy storage cells, a feat made possible by the company’s state-of-the-art 60GWh super energy storage factory.
