Recently, EVE Energy held its first Commercial Vehicle Battery Technology Day and Open-Source Battery New Product Launch in Huizhou, Guangdong, where it introduced eight flagship "Open-Source Battery" products. The event featured collaboration with industry leaders such as Huawei, SANY Heavy Truck, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle, Foton Light Truck, JAC Light Truck, Geely Commercial Vehicle, and Dongfeng Liuzhou, showcasing ultra-fast charging zones and full-scenario commercial vehicle exhibits. The innovations drew widespread attention from customers, media, and attendees.
The eight open-source battery flagship products offer comprehensive solutions tailored to diverse operational needs—from logistics vehicles (including mini vans and light trucks) to heavy-duty trucks (covering short-haul and long-distance transport), as well as buses and construction machinery. Upholding the vision of open-source innovation, EVE Energy empowers new energy commercial vehicles across four dimensions: faster charging, lighter weight, longer lifespan, and superior performance, aiming to drive greater value for commercial logistics.
As the third-generation open-source battery series, these products are designed to boost profitability for users. With 5C ultra-fast charging technology enabling rapid energy replenishment, a system energy density of 190Wh/kg (ranking among the industry’s highest for lightweight performance), and over 6,000 cycles to cover full lifecycle operational demands, EVE Energy redefines the economic benchmarks for new energy commercial vehicles through technological innovation.
· LF125P-41.86kWh Battery for Mini Vans: Sets a new value standard with 2C direct-charging architecture, achieving 20%-80% SOC in 18 minutes (natural cooling) and an 8-year/600,000-km warranty.
· LM254-160kWh Battery for Light Trucks: Expands operational limits with LMX chemistry, a single-pack 400-km range, 180Wh/kg system energy density, and 85% energy retention at -20°C.
Four CTB (Cell-to-Body) based products redefine the techno-economic boundaries for heavy trucks:
· LF230P-453kWh Battery – Ultra-Fast Charging: 10%-80% SOC in 18 minutes, 1,500kW peak charging, ¥50,000 annual revenue boost.
· LF668-448kWh Battery – Integrated Design: 0.5-ton weight reduction, ¥12,000 annual savings (swappable/chargeable).
· LF420-563kWh Battery – Short-Haul Leader: Industry’s largest LF420 cell, 145Wh/kg energy density, ¥15,000 annual profit gain (¥90,000 over 6 years).
· LM284-851kWh Battery – Long-Haul Pioneer: LMX chemistry, 170Wh/kg density, 700-km range, ¥500,000 fuel savings vs. diesel trucks over 5 years.
· LF324S-43.8kWh Battery for Buses: 10-year/1M-km warranty, 170Wh/kg energy density, 268Wh/L volumetric density (ensuring full lifecycle reliability for urban transit).
· LF628-350kWh Battery for Loaders: 200Wh/L integration, 2-minute installation, 6,000-cycle lifespan (setting new standards for electrified construction equipment).
EVE Energy also unveiled five key open-source battery technologies to drive systemic advancements:
1. Upgraded LMX Cell Chemistry
2. Ultra-Simplified System Integration
3. 3rd-Gen 3D Liquid Cooling
4. Safety Standards Exceeding National Requirements
5. AI-Powered Smart O&M (High Precision, Low Energy Consumption)
Rooted in "win-win collaboration" and driven by innovation, the open-source battery series marks a new chapter in EVE Energy’s commitment to industrial progress.
