DALI, YUNNAN – Great Power has successfully facilitated the grid integration of China Energy Investment Corporation's 200MW/400MWh independent shared energy storage station at Xiangyun County Industrial Park. Now operating stably, the facility ranks among the largest energy storage installations in Yunnan Province.
The 200MW/400MWh station is designed to absorb surplus renewable energy during peak wind and solar generation periods while supplying reliable power during high-demand industrial hours. It provides critical grid services, including peak shaving and stabilization of renewable energy output fluctuations.
For this project, Great Power implemented DC-side storage systems equipped with highly reliable lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, known for their safety, energy efficiency, and extended cycle life. An integrated intelligent operations platform ensures long-term system durability and optimizes economic performance.
As China advances its clean power market development, the independent shared energy storage sector is expanding rapidly. With 14 years of specialized expertise and a track record of successful project execution, Great Power delivers end-to-end solutions—from deployment to operations—supporting grid modernization and the transition to sustainable energy.
