REPT 30MW/33.5MWh Energy Storage System Peak Shaving Project Successfully Grid-Connected

The global transition to green energy is gaining momentum, and lithium-ion energy storage systems play a crucial role in enhancing the stability, reliability, and flexibility of power grids. Recently, the 30MW/33.5MWh energy storage peak shaving project, equipped with REPT’s 1P52S liquid-cooled energy storage module, was successfully grid-connected in the Qing Shan Industrial Park in Indonesia.

As the Qing Shan Industrial Park in Indonesia experiences rapid and robust development, new projects are emerging one after another. Electricity, as a vital energy source, is an essential component of the park’s development. With the increasing power generation capacity of local power plants and the rising downstream load, the instability of the grid has sharply increased. The frequency of high and low frequency events on the grid has gradually risen, seriously affecting the safe operation and production capacity of equipment.

To mitigate the impact of load fluctuations on the grid, the Qing Shan Industrial Park in Indonesia introduced REPT's 1P52S liquid-cooled battery storage system for grid regulation. The 1P52S liquid-cooled battery module is a product developed by REPT for industrial, commercial, and grid-side applications. It features long lifespan and high safety, playing a critical role in peak shaving, balancing grid fluctuations, and saving energy.
