On May 28, 2025, EVE Energy supported Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Huaneng Lancang River Company") in the successful grid connection and operation of its first shared energy storage project—the Chuxiong 200MW/400MWh Shared Energy Storage Construction Project. This marks a breakthrough in Huaneng Lancang River Company’s new energy storage initiatives in Yunnan, making a positive contribution to the optimization of the regional energy structure.

Located in Lühe Town, Chuxiong City, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, the project covers an area of approximately 22,780 m² with a capacity of 200MW/400MWh. To meet the project's application requirements, EVE Energy supplied 40 energy storage units, each with a capacity of 5MW/10MWh.

During the project execution, EVE Energy completed production and delivery in just over 40 days, finished dynamic debugging within two days, and achieved full-power charging and discharging on May 28. The company demonstrated outstanding performance in manufacturing, quality control, delivery, and service, proving its comprehensive capability to undertake large-scale projects in a short timeframe. After grid connection, the energy storage system's initial charging capacity reached 440 MWh, exceeding the rated capacity by 10%, showcasing the excellent performance of its battery cells and ensuring stable operation.

As a shared energy storage demonstration project in Chuxiong City, it will charge during off-peak hours and discharge during peak hours to mitigate fluctuations, significantly enhancing local renewable energy consumption capacity. Additionally, it can rapidly respond to grid peak-shaving and frequency regulation demands. Leveraging the "sharing economy" model, the project optimizes resource allocation, improving the flexibility and economic efficiency of the regional power grid.

Against the backdrop of the "dual-carbon" goals, the successful implementation of the Chuxiong shared energy storage project highlights EVE Energy's exceptional delivery and service standards. As more projects come online, EVE Energy remains committed to technological innovation, advancing integrated station delivery, and driving the energy transition with new energy technology to help build a sustainable energy future.
